Cob Workshops and Parties
Gateway Ranch 2011This workshop will cover the basics of building a cob house.
You will receive:
*Lectures are based on The Hand Sculpted House,
*A Copy of the book, The Hand Sculpted House
*Hands on experience,
*All meals and camping,
(If its hot we swim at the river in the afternoons)
Cost: 4 days, Sliding scale $375-$450
 
Ishe is  CCC Alumni, and started building a couple years ago.  The project providing hands on experience is an approximately 1000 SF cottage, in Douglas County Or.  Ishe has been to the natural Building Convergence 2009, and will be working with the VBDC, this May in Portland. Experienced in stone masonry, and roofing,  her projects is a marriage of natural and tradition building techniques. The plan to implement more and more permaculture on the land facilitates discussion about good things to come and sustainability.  Inspired by activists, and those committed to live to their purest ideals, Ishe sees herself as a facilitator.  Helping people unlock knowledge they posses and avenues to increase that knowledge.  We are all teachers and mirrors for each other. Last year we finished the roof, the walls are 40% up and we need your help, to keep going up.  Or please come join us for a great time at one of our summer workparties:
